Summary0002708: Samba4 - INTERNAL ERROR: Signal 11
Description

Dear all,

I'm finaly taking time to update my tutorial with latest Sogo version, new configuration, etc... and I definitely having issues with Samba4 and OpenChange. Please find my configuration :

  • Debian Wheezy 7.3
  • Samba 4.0.1+dfsg1-1 (from inverse repository)
  • Openchange 2.0.r3669-1~inverse1.0 (from inverse repository)
  • Dovecot 2.1.17-2~inverse11 (from inverse repository)
  • Imapproxy 1.2.7
  • Sogo 2.2.3-1 (from inverse repository)
  • Windows 7 and Outlook 2010
  • I'm as usual not using OpenLDAP, but only Samba4 as main directory.

The problem

I configured without any problem my Outlook with Anywhere option enabled (RPC proxy on port 80). Once my configuration is done, I click Finish and then I start Outlook, but at this time, it hang on Creating new Outlook profile 5% and Samba4 crash with INTERNAL ERROR: Signal 11.

You will find attached the full backtrace.

Thanks and best regards.

Olivier.

Almost same setup (Debian 7.5, Sogo 2.2.5, Outlook 2013), exact same problem.

Is there any solution around?

Exact same issue after fresh install following olivierb2 his excellent tutorial, this is blocking the use of SOGo with Outlook.
Versions: Debian 7.5, Samba 4.0.1+dfsg1-1, Sogo 2.2.6-1, Outlook 2013.

I was building this new server since i couldn't use SOGo with Outlook on my other server with the same problem (Samba crashing).
Versions: Ubuntu 12.04, Samba 4.0.1+dfsg1-1, Sogo 2.2.6-1, Outlook 2013. Same problem also occurred with other versions of SOGo and Samba since this is bugging me since January 2014.

had this problem. All other thing being equal, the issue disappeared on running microsoft update and restarting samba ...

problem is reproducible on connecting with un-updated outlook ...

hope this helps in fixing this bug.

Updating Outlook is no resolution for me. Now on Sogo 2.2.7-1 and with OpenChange 1:2.0.r3669-1~inverse1 still the same problem.
