Summary0002725: Calender subscription problem / CalDav
Description

An user has created a calendar (Sperrtermine) in SOGo and set all r/w access to it for my user.

He subscribed me to that calendar and I see it in SOGo and I can add/edit entries.

But with OS X 10.7 and my configured CalDav Account only my private and special SOGo Calendar show up in the calendar list.

The "Stellvertreter" is empty.

In OS X 10.9 the calendar shows up as all connected by CalDav.

Steps To Reproduce

Steps as mentioned in the Description

Additional Information

With OS X 10.8 and 10.9 it is a bit different, see other reported issue.

So every OS X / apple Kalender/Ical gives a different result.

There is most likely an event in the calendar that breaks iCal. Try enabling debugging options in iCal (http://www.tuaw.com/2012/02/24/how-to-enable-icals-debug-menu/ might help) and see if you can any input.

Hi,

I enabled the debug menu, but don't get any more feedback from iCal.

BTW: The ical "surrogate" Tab says the server dose not support that feature.

O.-K, just goggled a bit and found something: I attached the log file with all calendars I'm looking at subscribed.

Unsubscribing from a calendar also ends up in the same situation.

Unexpected EOF, returning last token as fallback.

So you have this issue with your personal calendar only, right?

Are other users having the same issue or some can see events too?

Is this bug still accurate or it's fixed since you removed yourself from SOGoSuperUsernames?

Hi, the bug still accurate no matter if I'm SOGoSuperUsernames or not.

Currently I have sogo-2.2.9.20140916-1.centos6.x86_64 installed.

I'v created a new CalDav Account in iCal OS X 10.7. to check again.

My personal SOGo Callendars show up in iCal, but all SOGo calendars IV been subscribed to in sog from other SOGo users do not show up.

The deputy config is still empty (screenshot).

This behavior is not present in 10.8 and/or 10.9.!

Suspending for now. iCal5 is broken.

We support the calendar proxy feature, as documented by Apple in http://svn.calendarserver.org/repository/calendarserver/CalendarServer/trunk/doc/Extensions/caldav-proxy.txt:

5.1. Feature Discovery

A server that supports the features described in this document MUST
include "calendar-proxy" as a field in the DAV response header from
an OPTIONS request on any resource that supports these features.

We advertise this:

OPTIONS /SOGo/dav/sogo10/ HTTP/1.1
Host: sogoludo.inverse:8008
User-Agent: CalendarStore/5.0.1 (1139.14); iCal/5.0.1 (1547.4); Mac OS X/10.7.2 (11C74)
Accept: /
Accept-Language: en-us
Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate
Authorization: Basic lala=
x-webobjects-server-port: 80
x-webobjects-server-protocol: HTTP/1.0
X-Forwarded-For: 172.20.20.24
X-Forwarded-Host: sogoludo.inverse:8008
X-Forwarded-Server: sogo.example.com
Connection: close
Content-Length: 0

HTTP/1.1 200 OK

Content-Length: 0
Content-Type: text/plain
DAV: 1, 2, access-control, addressbook, calendar-access, calendar-schedule, calendar-auto-schedule, calendar-proxy, calendar-query-extended, extended-mkcol, calendarserver-principal-property-search
Allow: GET, HEAD, POST, OPTIONS, MKCOL, MKCALENDAR, DELETE, PUT, LOCK, UNLOCK, COPY, MOVE, REPORT, PROPFIND, SEARCH

So it looks like its feature discovery is utterly broken.
