Summary0002782: Synchronisation with CardDAV
Description

I am using SOGO Connector 24.0.4 with Thunderbird 24.5.0 and with Baikal DAV server running on Linux.
Creating, deleting entries in the addressbook works fine, also moving entries between addressbooks.
But changing of an attribute in an existing entry is not synchronised with the server, the server does not register any http request from the client.
The only way how to get the update synchronised is to move the updated entry into another addressbook and back again.

Steps To Reproduce

Create a new address book entry through the Thunderbird GUI. It gets propagated to the server - in the Apache log of the server the proper incoming request is visible, as well as the SQL INSERT statement in the DB log.
Change an attribute (e.g. add a telephone number, delete an existing telephone number, add an e-mail address, ...) in the existing entry - nothing happens. No http message arrives at the server. Even enforcing manually the synchronisation in the GUI states there be nothing to synchronise.
Using the GUI, move the changed entry into another addressbook and back again - now the updated entry is properly inserted on the server.

Additional Information

Above I am saying the the problem occurs with Windows 7 client - but the same behaviour I see with Thunderbird/SoGo Connector under Fedora Linux. Seems to be independent of the client operating system.

Does anybody check this tracking system?
The bug report is now 4 months old, without any update.
And what I see in various fora - the bug has been observed by many people and has been also reported here multiple times - without any reaction.
Do you mean the maintenance in earnest??

Many changes were pushed since then, try a nightly build: https://packages.inverse.ca/SOGo/thunderbird/nightly/
