Summary | 0003114: No File > New > Remote Addressbook entry in Thunderbird 31.0.4 ArchLinux 32 bit
Description | Well the subject basically says it all. I have a self hosted Owncloud and wanted to use Thunderbird for Calendar and Contacts syncing. I've installed Lightning 3.3.3 and the latest Sogo connector from here http://www.sogo.nu/files/downloads/extensions/sogo-connector-31.0.1.xpi and restarted the Thunderbird. After restart I've setuped the Lightning calendar to be in sync with my Owncloud server however when I tried to setup the contacts sync as described here: http://doc.owncloud.org/server/6.0/user_manual/pim/sync_thunderbird.html I've failed because there is no "Remote addressbook" entry in the File > New menu. Installing sogo changed nothing in Thunderbird menus from what I can see. I have absolutely no idea how to proceed with this. Cheers. Andrzej

You have to open the Thunderbird address book first! |
