Summary0001194: RFE: Honour List-Post Header to reply to lists
Description

The SOGo Webmail client should support/honour the List-Post:-header in mails from mailing lists. It should either use the List-Post:-header to build the reply address or add an additional "Reply list" button, which would reply to the mailing list specified in the List-Post:-header.

Additional Information

Taken from http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2369.txt:

3.4. List-Post

The List-Post field describes the method for posting to the list.
This is typically the address of the list, but MAY be a moderator, or
potentially some other form of submission. For the special case of a
list that does not allow posting (e.g., an announcements list), the
List-Post field may contain the special value "NO".

Examples:

 List-Post: <mailto:list@host.com>
 List-Post: <mailto:moderator@host.com> (Postings are Moderated)
 List-Post: <mailto:moderator@host.com?subject=list%20posting>
List-Post: NO (posting not allowed on this list)

It would really be a good thing if this request could be solved

Seconded...

I really like Thunderbird's 'Smart Reply' button, that automatically changes to 'Reply List' if the List Post header is present, but also has the little down-arrow next to it to allow the user to choose 'Reply or Reply All as well, if desired.

Hi,

could this request be planned.
I'm of those who write very frequently to lists, and it's now very hard to use sogo. It's one of the main features I really need.

I agree, but I would much prefer something more like the 'Smart Reply' button in Thunderbird (sadly only available for the MessageHEader pane toolbar), that auto detects the List-Post header and switches to Reply to List automatically, but has the little drop-down arrow to let you manually select another reply mode if you want.
