Summary | 0000243: Duplication of events in the calendar
Description | Hi, the following setting: We use a shared calendar where everyone can insert and delete events which are relevant to the whole group. I just recently noticed that some of the events in this shared calendar are duplicated. All kinds of clients (Outlook/Thunderbird/Evolution with SyncML or CalDAV) access this shared calendar. I checked the VCALENDAR entries in the user table and discovered that the duplicate events have the same UID. The PRODID is in all cases "-//Mozilla.org/NONSGML Mozilla Calendar V1.1//EN" but maybe this isn't changed when an event is updated by one of the clients. Because of the same UID, these duplicate events do not show up in Ligthning but in the Web Calendar. That's how I discovered the problem. I don't know how to reproduce the problem because of this very complex setting with many potential race conditions between the different clients (0000041:0000020 clients are connected).
