Summary0004014: Issue when answering a mail via Android in plain text
Description

In mail preferences , you set up "compose messages in" to "plain text".

Next with an android device, you try to reply to an email.

First, the prompt cursor is focused on "add a recipient" field and the virtual keyboard is now opened :-(

Next, if you try to set the prompt cursor in the body text to reply, you can only put the cursor to the end of the body text, you can't reply with text on the top of the email for example, the preference "Start my reply above the quote" doesn't help.

Steps To Reproduce

You can reproduce this on http://demo.sogo.nu directly.

The problem occurs with an Android device (we try many versions : with all we can reproduce this), replying an email as text (if you reply as html, no problem).

Additional Information

With iPad (iOS), this problem does not occur.

I don't understand.

You are having issues replying to emails sent by SOGo when the sender is using the plain/text mode from SOGo?

I've just tried with Android 6 and it works perfectly.

No, I have issue when I just reply to an email with SOGo using plain/text (no others conditions required).

Just now, I reproduced this with :

  • Android 6.0.1 and Chrome.
  • Android 4.4 and Firefox

It seems it's better with Android 6.0.1 and Firefox (the focus is in "add a recipient" field first however).

Oh, you mean you reply using the Android's web browser using SOGo's webmail interface, correct?
