Summary0004373: New created all-day repeating events not displayed within WebUI
Description

Independent, whether a repeating all-day event is created in the SOGo WebUI, it is not displayed in the WebUI afterwards.

This problem exists also, when Thunderbird/Outlook is used with the corresponding plugins (Ligthning, CalDav Synchronizer).

Only all-day single events will be displayed correctly.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Login into SOGo WebUI
  2. Change to calendar view and click to add a new appointment
  3. Fill the form with test data, important here:
    --> Select Checkbox "all day event"
    --> Choose the repeat frequency (day, week, monty) and the duration/end time
  4. Save this entry
  5. After, look up for the entry by
    --> Search form within WebUI
    --> Calender grouping view (day, week, month)

Problem: The different event entries are not displayed in the Calendar table or Search result list

~~~~~~~~~*
  1. Repeat step [1] to [6] for an all-day event, where repeat frequency is disabled
Here: The entry is displayed correctly in the Calendar table or search result list
Additional Information
The calendar entry added by SOGo WebUI will be synchronized correctly to 3rd parties, so that Thunderbird, Outlook or Android apps display the event series correctly
Does this problem have something to do with Ticket 0004237?
For product version 2.3.21 this issue should already fixed.
Have you tried a recent nightly build?
Hi Francis,
Unfortunately not. We only use the last stable SOGo version in our environment, which is currently 3.2.10.
Do you guys have a test environment where I could verify this?
Thanks & Regards,
Uwe
Hi Francis,
Thanks for sharing test instance info.
Have checked the logic and could reproduced the problem.
When you choose
'End Repeat => After times' OR
'End Repeat => On Date',
then for each {day,week,month,year} the entry will be NOT displayed in the calendar header
BUT: When you choose
'End Repeat => Never',
then for each {day,week,month,year} the entry will be displayed in the calendar header
Thanks for your assistance and best Regards,
Uwe
I can't reproduce the problem, even on demo.sogo.nu.
What do you mean by "the calendar header"?
"calendar header" -> see attached file.
Don't know, why my entries now displayed. I've tried this 3 or 5 times with different sessions on our and your test environment.
Now it seems to work. May a chaching problem of JS resources in browser?
