Summary0005520: Change display name for email sender of signatures
Description

Each employee in our company has a personal and (several) public email addresses with different signatures.
Unfortunately, when the email is sent, a fixed display name is always used, which contains the name of the sender. This is not recommended for public email addresses. Changing the "Full Name" is not possible in the signature management and if I change the value in the database, the whole signature definition is invalid.

Steps To Reproduce
  • Open the email settings in SOGo
  • Switch to the tab "IMAP accounts"
  • Edit account
  • Add "NEW IDENTITY"
  • "Full name" is not changeable

Make sure to set SOGoMailCustomFromEnabled to YES in sogo.conf.

Thanks for the hint, the parameter was unfortunately not known to me. Everything works as expected and the support case can be closed!
