Description

If the new SOGoEASDisableUI parameter is set to YES; then
the following option should not be visible in the web frontend.

Preferences -> Mail -> General:
Synchronize only default mail folders (EAS)

Tested on dev env and demo.sogo.nu and the option works as expected (screenshot) or I misunderstand the issue.
Are you sure the option is set and you have restart sogo service ?

Everything works. Sorry for the false alarm.

The problem was a local adoption of the file: /var/lib/sogo/GNUstep/Library/SOGo/Templates/PreferencesUI/UIxPreferences.wox

User should not be able to configure TOTP at our site.
