Summary0001174: Newline in the notes field of an address and the address is never updated/created on the server
Description

Configuration: Thunderbird 3.1.9, SoGoConnector 3.105pre3 and Apple Addressbook Server

-1- Define a new address with the note field filled and the note field string includes a newline

=> The address is not added to the server, but it is in the address book of thunderbird (you cannot see which addresses are not on the server, it would be nice to have a field not synchronized or something like that)

-2- Take an existing address and add a note field with a newline

=> The address is not updated on the server and all changes you will make to the address will not be synchronized to the server

-3- Deleting the new line from the note (both cases) and the updates/creation of the address on the server is working

=> Are there any experiences with SoGo that it has the same behavior?

Cannot test it anymore (Sogo Connector 3.105), because changing an address in thunderbird does not lead to an update of the address (Bug 1110)

Can be closed!

I tested it and it works now very well!

The test was prevented by effect 0001341
After understanding the connection issue multiple lines are not a problem anymore!
