Summary	0002635: Support for Event - especially the 'Daily Agenda' - notifications, like Google
Description	Many of the people in our office rely heavily on the Event, and especially the 'Daily Agenda' notifications available with Google Calendar. Losing these when we switch to SOGo will definitely cause some unhappiness. I've even had some people tell me they will continue to maintain their Google Calendar in tandem with their new SOGo Calendar, just for this one feature. Google offers both SMS and EMail notifications, and while support for both in SOGo would be nice, email support alone would be enough to make our users happy (all of the ones I asked, anyway). It would also be nice if users could add a specific/different email address for these notifications (ie, they could use a plussed version of their address, or send it to their phone via their service's email-to-SMS capability, to make it easy to filter them)...

Christian Mack 2014-03-05 10:28 developer ~0006631	Daily agenda isn't there in SOGo (yet). But you always get invitations and changes to invitations per email, if you have set SOGoAppointmentSendEMailNotifcations to YES in your sogo.conf.

Like I said, we have users that rely heavily on this, and if I can at least tell them it is coming - even without a promise of when (as long as it is not a 'someday, maybe, if/when someone steps up to write the code') - then that would satisfy most of them... ;)

mbi 2014-04-16 14:36 reporter ~0006904	No response? I can't believe that you guys don't see the value in such a feature... and as I said, our boss relies heavily on this. Currently, his secretary is maintaining both his new SOGo calendar AND his old Google Calendar, just so he can continue to get these daily agenda emails.
