Summary0005751: Chilean timezone is not correct
Description

The issue might be related that since 2010, Chile has been playing with the dates to switch from/to DST.

Linux has the tz updated (using Olson database as a source, IIUC) but it seems it's not the case for SOGo.

Steps To Reproduce
  • Set the calendar to CLT
  • Create a daily recurrent event with CLT on date before September, say 08:00am-09:00am CLST on any day in July. In CEST that should display 14:00.
  • Switch to December, it should be 12:00 CET, but instead it shows 13:00 CET

We're using https://www.iana.org/time-zones for timezone, can you check that it's right ?

Hi Sebastien, I checked the timezone information and indeed it's correct.

I've realized tho that the problem is only affecting recurrent events. I think this might be the same problem we are experiencing at https://bugs.sogo.nu/view.php?id=5713
